Korea Yea Won, Ipoh

Sometime ago, went back to my hometown in Ipoh and visited this korean restaurant. My mum recommend this korean restaurant as she visited it before. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not smoky at all though bbq were served right in the restaurant. There were like most korean restaurant where you can choose to be seated at dining table or elevated floor which you need to take off your shoes and seat on the thick cushion.

As usual, every korean style meal will be served with free refilling side dishes.
One of the side dish served were blood cockles.
We ordered the barlea tea, RM3 for such a big jug.
Staff in the restaurant help us to grill the meat that we ordered. The set come with onions, and enoki mushroom.

Served with varieties of refillable vegetable to consume with the meat. You can use the vegetable to wrap in the bbq meat and added with sauce, garlic, onion & enoki mushroom, whichever that suits to ur liking. Korean rice cake , it is kinda chewy

Redang Trip (22 - 24 March 2009)

My first Redang trip was to stay in Redang Reef Resort. Being told that we were the only 2 visitors for the day.. Haha.. More privacy or more lonely..
Late at night on 21st March, catch the latest bus (10:30pm) to reach Kuala Terengganu next day in the early morning. Around 6 a.m., receive call from Redang reef driver to fetch us to take a rest in their office in K.T. He is so nice to offer to bring us breakfast at 7a.m. then only to take ferry at 8 a.m. as the ferry service only starts at 9.30am to redang reef.

Ferry ticket from Sejahtera Services Sejahtera Ferry to bring us all towards Redang Island.
In about an hour, reach Redang Island.

Snorkelling trip in Marine Park.

After back from snorkelling trip, its time for tea time.They serve us fresh fried curry puff. Still hot and crunchy though we went back quite late. Well, since we are the only guests for the day, we do not need to hurry back for any meals as food were prepared and reserved on table. Though our package is stated meals served as buffet style but since there's no other visitors there today. Meals were served as ala-carte style..

3 dishes for 2 person for lunch
Fruit only for 2 person(Lunch) Dinner was also 3 dishes. Quite large amount for 2 person. Din manage to finish all.

McDonald's Double Beef Prosperity Burger

Every once a year, the McDonald's Beef Prosperity Burger is coming back to town..This time there's double patty of beef..So yummy..The large set which consists the double beef prosperity burger, twister fries and a large coke cost Rm20. Kinda expensive meal.

Chilled Soya Pudding, Prangin Mall, Penang

Do you like to eat soya pudding? There's a shop selling chilled soya pudding in Pragin Mall, Penang. I have tried once in some time ago, and i have revisit this place. This time, i found that they have a new item, there is Bear Bear jelly as on option to be added on your chilled soya pudding. There were about 8 different flavour of soya to choose from, original taste, cocoa, black sesame, almond, carrot, sweet corn, pandan and coffee. For the sugar syrup, you can opt for brown sugar, cane sugar and jasmine tea sugar. For topping, there were choices of Bear Bear jelly, gingko seed, pineapple, peach, rambutan, longan, jack fruit, pearl ball, Nata De Coco and etc. They were varies of package where you can mix the toppings and they name it as Gingko Seed series, Pineapple Series, Peach series and etc. This time, i choose for the Bear Bear Jelly + Pearl Ball series which costs Rm 4.50. I have opt for almond flavour soya pudding with cane sugar.

Its time to change a new refridgerator in my hometown. And only by then, i made up my mind to throw this long-kept sweets of mine. There were either bear icon or wrapped by bear plastic wrapper. Thats not really much of it, only 4 but i only have 3 picture of it as the 4th one already melted in the wrapper. When i mention long-kept, how long would you think i have been keeping these sweets. I kept those since 1999..haha..The sweets were actually brought back from Japan and kept inside a very cute small-size bear zipped bag before i remove them and placed into my fridge.

HK trip 4th day (27th Sept 2008)

In Hk for few days but have never try on the dimsum. Today's schedule is to go Central for the famous dimsum shop - Lin Heung Lou. Went to Tsim Tsa Tsui and take Tsim Tsa Tsui Ferry Pier to Central. Before that, went to Avenue of Stars.

After Avenue of Stars, took Central Pier to reach Central for Lin Heung Lao.

After some walking distance , reach Lin Heung Lou. Have a look at the dimsum served there, they came in quite bigger servings than the normal dimsum we have in Malaysia.

Next schedule is to the Peak for Madame Tussauds.

After Madame Tussauds, went up to the peak. The night view of HK is really awesome, reminds me of all those years of TVB drama scene, its really windy up there and my compact camera cant be able to take good picture of the view. Furthermore, i am running out of battery.

My flight back to Malaysia is in the morning, cant manage to go anymore visits. I wish that i can revisit to HK, its really lack of time as there is really limited time to go for shopping and eateries. Looking forward to my next visit..
